Remember that baking weekend I told you about where we made the yummy White Chocolate Molasses Cookies and Red Velvet Cookies?
This fantastic snack mix was part of that epic weekend also. Michelle when are you coming back? I need more awesome recipes to post about!
My lovely friends over at Kernel Season’s let me pick out three different seasonings to try. Wow was that hard. They all look awesome and I love popcorn so I’m ready to try them all! It’s also fun to make different things with them. One of them that I picked out was Parmesan Garlic. I just knew it had snack mix calling it’s name for sure! Find Kernel Season’s on Facebook and Twitter too!
I know cookies are awesome at Christmas but there’s something about a good snack mix that calls my name too. Last year I posted my Great Aunt Eunice’s Snack Mix. Yup. My Great Aunt was named Eunice. Other relatives inclued Grandpa Ernest, Great Uncle Rueben, Grandma Edith, Grandpa Clarence. As I sit here and giggle at these names I sure wonder what my grand kids will think of my name. I’m going with … nothing good. It’s amazing how time changes isn’t it?
My mom was just looking at Miss K’s 6 month pictures and remarking how she’ll make so much fun of what I dressed her in let alone what I wore. I imagine it going something like this…
“Boots Mom? Seriously? You look like a hooker!”
“But they were in style Kinzee. I promise”
“No way were they ever in Mom. You were dreaming. Not possible.” Followed by a LONG eye roll.
I of course never did this to my mom. Right Mom? …. Silence… Eye Roll…. I imagine my mom rolling her eyes….

Trust me. It is. My pants will tell you it is too
OH this snack mix sounds perfect to make during the holidays!
Love this savory version!
This looks so yummy. I bought a LOT of chex the other day and now I have a new idea of what to do with it
Perfect! It’s a fun twist on the regular old Chex Mix
I’ll come back soon! Maybe my next available weekend off, after Christmas.
I think I love this!
Oh yum! Our theaters here have a stand where you can choose from like 5-6 different Kernel Season’s seasonings to shake on your popcorn for free, it’s so cool! Great idea using it in a snack mix–yum!
You have a cool movie theater! I could live on popcorn, well not technically but you get what I mean!
This sounds so good. With all the sweets we have around this time of year, it is NECESSARY to have a salty mix and this sounds perfect. Thanks so much for linking up at Weekend Potluck.
