Yup. It’s me again. The lover of everything with Chicken, Bacon and Ranch in it. It’s been a while since I’ve posted a new recipe including these three amazing ingredients. So forgive me please?

It’s hot. I’m not complaining don’t get me wrong here. I’ve waited for summer for what seemed like FOR-EVAH. Winter never ended and then once it decided to quit snowing it was like it never really wanted to warm up. So now it’s finally here. Hot, blissful summer. Don’t tell my husband I don’t mind it.

He might get mad. But then again he works outside everyday. I wouldn’t like it then that’s for sure, but then again I wouldn’t like winter either (not that I do now) so I’d just be miserable all year long. That’s why I work in a climate controlled office. I’ll leave the outdoors to him.

If you are feeling the heat and don’t want to turn on the oven this summer. This is just perfect for you. If you are in a rush getting kids from one thing to another and trying to work also then this recipe is calling your name too.

Crock Pot Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 6

Crock Pot Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 package ranch dressing mix
  • 1 10.75 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c. Real Bacon Bits
  • 3 cups pasta

Instructions

  1. Place Crock Pot Liner in crock pot or spray insert with non stick cooking spray. Place chicken breast in liner.
  2. Mix cream of chicken soup, Greek yogurt, garlic and ranch dressing mix, bacon bits in a small bowl. Pour over chicken.
  3. Cook on high 3 1/2 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.
  4. When chicken is done cook pasta according to directions. Serve with chicken mixture.

    I made this for dinner today.It’s simple and simply great! Chicken was tender and flavorful. Pasta and sauce were wonderful. Only one suggestion..I think next time i will add frozen peas. Always looking for ways to sneak veggies in.

      I’ve always called it Cavatappi, but there are other names for it I’m sure!

    Sorry, this may be a dumb question, but do you cook the bacon first or put it in the mixture raw? Thanks!

      Hey Olivia, You actually use the Real Bacon Bits which are already cooked. You can usually find them in a little yellow bag right by all the salad dressings at the grocery store. Hope this helps! You could fry some regular bacon and add that if you want to go that route too. I just used the others because I didn’t want to fry bacon!

      I put it in whole. It gets nice and tender by the time it’s done and it just falls apart for you!

    Hi I was just wondering when you say package of ranch dressing… Do you mean the individual packages you can get or do you use like a bottle of the dressing? Sorry if that’s a dumb question, I was just wondering because I want to make this, it looks delicious!!! Thanks :)

      I would think you could adapt it to cook on the stove. I would boil your chicken and shred it then do the sauce.

    So I made a crock pot chicken pasta recipe loosely based off of your recipe. OMG. It is so good! The reason I didn’t follow your recipe is because I didn’t have any ranch seasoning nor did I have cream of chicken soup. But man, I can only imagine how good yours is! :)
