Crock Pot Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta ~ Creamy pasta stuffed with Chicken, Bacon & Ranch ready when you get home! via

Yup. It’s me again. The lover of everything with Chicken, Bacon and Ranch in it. It’s been a while since I’ve posted a new recipe including these three amazing ingredients. So forgive me please?

Thanks. Much appreciated.

It’s hot. I’m not complaining don’t get me wrong here. I’ve waited for summer for what seemed like FOR-EVAH. Winter never ended and then once it decided to quit snowing it was like it never really wanted to warm up. So now it’s finally here. Hot, blissful summer. Don’t tell my husband I don’t mind it.

He might get mad. But then again he works outside everyday. I wouldn’t like it then that’s for sure, but then again I wouldn’t like winter either (not that I do now) so I’d just be miserable all year long. That’s why I work in a climate controlled office. I’ll leave the outdoors to him.

If you are feeling the heat and don’t want to turn on the oven this summer. This is just perfect for you. If you are in a rush getting kids from one thing to another and trying to work also then this recipe is calling your name too.

Well, really everyone is having their name called by this so just make it and enjoy it!

Sorry! Fixed the recipe. Mix it in with everything and pour over chicken! I threw a few more on for a garnish.

Can I subsititute “Gili” (flower shaped pasta) in place of the “corkscrew” shape?

  • Gail

I made this for dinner today. It’s simple and simply great! Chicken was tender and flavorful. Pasta and sauce were wonderful. Only one suggestion..I think next time i will add frozen peas. Always looking for ways to sneak veggies in.

    • Julie Evink

That would bee a great addition!

  • Autumn

I’m ridiculous. What kind of pasta was it you used for this dish in the photo? Corkscrew pasta?
This looks delicious! I’m going to make it for my boyfriend and I. We adore Crock Pot dishes.

    • Julie Evink

I’ve always called it Cavatappi, but there are other names for it I’m sure!

  • Olivia

Sorry, this may be a dumb question, but do you cook the bacon first or put it in the mixture raw? Thanks!

    • Julie Evink

Hey Olivia, You actually use the Real Bacon Bits which are already cooked. You can usually find them in a little yellow bag right by all the salad dressings at the grocery store. Hope this helps! You could fry some regular bacon and add that if you want to go that route too. I just used the others because I didn’t want to fry bacon!

  • Cristy

Do you cut chicken or put it in whole?

    • Julie Evink

I put it in whole. It gets nice and tender by the time it’s done and it just falls apart for you!

      • Cristy

Thank you!! Can’t wait to taste it!! :)

        • Julie Evink

          • Jana

is the chicken frozen or thawed out to begin in the crock pot?

          • Julie Evink

            I used thawed chicken.

  • Jayme

Hi I was just wondering when you say package of ranch dressing… Do you mean the individual packages you can get or do you use like a bottle of the dressing? Sorry if that’s a dumb question, I was just wondering because I want to make this, it looks delicious!!! Thanks :)

    • Julie Evink

Just a package of the dry mix!

  • Rachel

For the greek yogurt, is that the “plain” flavor?

  • Kylee Robinson

Made this today, with a few minor tweaks…. and it was absolutely delicious!! Thanks for a great new meal idea :)

    • Julie Evink

So glad you enjoyed it Kylee!

  • Leanna

Hi Julie, it looks like you have shredded cheese or something I top as a garnish as well. What kind of cheese is that? I am hoping to make this next week. Looks great.

    • Julie Evink

I think I just threw some Parmesan cheese on top to “pretty” it up for the picture!

      • Leanna

  • Erika

Quick question: Does this freeze well? I want to make this and put it in the freezer…just not sure how it will do?

    • Julie Evink

I’m not sure Erika since I’ve never tried it!

  • Almendra g

Is it possible to cook this on the stove?

    • Julie Evink

I would think you could adapt it to cook on the stove. I would boil your chicken and shred it then do the sauce.

  • Julie @ This Gal Cooks

So I made a crock pot chicken pasta recipe loosely based off of your recipe. OMG. It is so good! The reason I didn’t follow your recipe is because I didn’t have any ranch seasoning nor did I have cream of chicken soup. But man, I can only imagine how good yours is! :)

    • Julie Evink

I saw you posted it today! So glad you enjoyed it Julie!

  • Maya @ Maya - Kitchenette

I cannot wait to try these Crock pot Chicken Bacon ranch pasta. Looks so good. :)
