The hubs has been in the field helping my family out for the last month or so we have had a lot of “girls nights” as Miss K likes to call them. Mamma is kind of over “girls nights” and is ready for the hubs to be back at home, just in time for the snow to fly and him to start snowplowing at odd hours! One of Miss K’s favorite things is bringing food to the guys in the field. She makes sure to ask if Grandma needs her help as often as possible! Last weekend I brought both girls out to assist in meal delivery. They go to eat in the back of Mom’s vehicle and then ride in the tractor with Dad and combine with Uncle Brent. It’s so much fun to watch them make memories like I had growing up and still hold near and dear to my heart!
These Crock Pot Cinnamon Apples have been HOOOOT on Pinterest and the blog right now! The only question is will you eat them over ice cream, pancakes or plain with a spoon? I’m going for the ice cream route for sure!
The hubs was home one night when it rained and Miss K looked at him and informed him she “neeeeeeeded” cookies. So, off they went to make the cookies! It’s his Grandma’s recipe and it’s fun to know they are creating memories and his Grandma is smiling down from heaven watching! Mom doesn’t argue when she NEEDS cookies. I’m fighting over the first ones out of the oven!
Looking for a new dinner idea? We have been rotating this Chow Mein Noodles with Chicken almost weekly on our menu plan! It’s sooooo good. Ramen brings me back to my childhood for some reason. The girls LOVE the “squiggly” noodles. I couldn’t believe they liked the flavors of this recipe, but I was on board with it!
RyRy has a new love for her “babies” and loves to play house with them when Miss K isn’t trying to boss her around and play with her! It’s so much fun to see her imagination run wild! I’m slightly worried about her “playing babies” when our new baby arrives! I bet keep close tabs on her. This cradle was mine when I was a little girl. I just love the memories associated with things like this!
Pregnancy Update! I’m 25 weeks along and I feel like I’m in the middle where I’m just kind of there. Not close to the beginning and the end is far away so the weeks are dragging. We had our 20 week ultrasound almost a month ago and everything was great except according to my midwife I’m a “rockstar” at producing amniotic fluid and have a “high normal” level of amniotic fluid which needs monitoring. I will go back for another ultrasound on Tuesday and would love any prayers for us! I made the mistake of Googling high amniotic fluid and freaked out which resulted in me playing a 911 text to my friend, a doctor, to talk me off the cliff. As my midwife said, “Julie remember it’s still NORMAL, just on the higher end”. Trying to focus on that and hoping it will still be in the normal range on Tuesday!

Hi Julie, You look great and its all that fresh air I see in the background! I love all the updates of your family – so fun. I too, had polyhydramnios. Instead of focusing on all the things that could potentially be bad, I decided I was luckier than my friends because I got to see my baby more times than they did! You’ll do fine and so will your baby.
Blessings,
Jan

Hello Julie, your girls are so beautiful I love the pictures of them. Love the cradle how cool to still have yours! My Daughter loves her babies she’s 38 my oldest but any dolls she just goes crazy for. She was born with Spina Bifida so babies were her thing and helped her through many surgeries. Glad you are feeling better. I sent the White chocolate s’more bars to my grandchildren in Iowa, they were a hit! My son said ” They are dangerous” lol he said it’s like eating a huge cookie. Thanks for the updates, try not to worry too much you look wonderful. Hugs to you and your beautiful family.

Thank you so much Celeste! It’s amazing how little things lot dolls can get kids through so much. We gave Miss K a baby doll when Ry was born when she came to the hospital and she keeps telling me she’s getting a present when the baby is born! So glad you guys enjoyed the bars!

Looking good beautiful! My hubs works 14 hours a day, 5-6 days a week so I hear you — I am SO over girls nights! Hopefully just a couple more weeks and I’m done single momming it. I can’t wait to see your newest little bundle!
