Savory Bacon Alfredo Pasta Casserole ~ Creamy pasta dish smothered in a savory bacon Alfredo sauce!
I’m sitting here staring that picture. I kind of want to lick the fork right now. Is that wrong of me?
I think not.
Cause really, who in their right mind wouldn’t want to lick the fork of a pasta dish that’s filled with cheese, bacon, Alfredo and noodles? Not I my friends. Nope.
You see I have a set of hips on me thankful to that “last spoonful”. You know when you are going to go do dishes and there’s the spoon in the casserole dish and you just can’t. resist. the. last. spoonful.
Please tell me I’m not that only one that has to lick the spoon. Good. Glad I’m not.
Your hips can match mine after eating this! Actually I tried to lightening it up a little using Chobani Greek Yogurt, Cottage cheese that was fat free and no bacon drippings. So this is as light as you get from me.
I practice the 80/20 method too. Only sometimes I think it’s 80% unhealthy and 20% healthy. I might need to reverse this….

Savory Bacon Alfredo Pasta Casesrole
- 16 oz ziti pasta
- 1 lb chicken, cooked and cubed
- 14.5 oz Savory Bacon Alfredo Sauce
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 c. Chobani Greek Yogurt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 c. mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. real bacon bits
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
- In the meantime in a large mixing bowl combine the Alfredo sauce, chicken, cottage cheese, Chobani, eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, 1 c. Mozzarella cheese and bacon bits. Mix well.
- Add cooked pasta to sauce mix. Mix well.
- Place in a glass 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle 1 c. Mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
