Want to change up pizza night? This quick and easy Pizza Ring is the answer. It’s perfect for a quick weeknight meal that the kids will actually eat. Flaky Crescent Rolls stuffed with Italian Sausage, ham, pepperoni, pizza sauce and topped with cheese. Grab a slice tonight!
Tired of making a dinner that your kids won’t eat unless it’s pizza? Here’s a quick and easy recipe to mix up your regular pizza routine.
This delicious Pizza Ring is a simple combination of meat, cheese, pizza sauce and flaky crescent rolls that are folded over on top of the filling to resemble Stromboli. It’s only takes about 30 minutes to make from start to finish. It’s perfect for busy weeknights.
It’s easy to mix up by substituting your favorite pizza toppings or make it for breakfast with breakfast ingredients.
Ingredients for Pizza Ring!
Best part about this recipe is that there are few simple ingredients you need to make it. Just sub the pizza dough you usually need to make pizza for Crescent Rolls and you have what you need!

Steps to Prepare!
There’s only a few steps to make this delicious Pizza Ring stuffed with meat.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Grab a large skillet and cook the sausage and garlic until no longer pink. Drain grease off. Stir in 1/2 c. pizza sauce, pepperoni, Canadian bacon and 1 c. pizza cheese.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange triangles on a 14 inch ungreased pizza pan with points toward the outside and wide ends overlapping at the center, leaving a 4 inch opening in the center. Press overlapping dough to seal.
- Spoon the mixture onto the wide ends of the triangles. Fold pointed ends of triangles over filling, tucking points under to form a a ring. The filling will be visible.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve with remaining pizza sauce.

- Place parchment paper on pan before the pizza ring for easy clean up.
- Cool leftovers completely then transfer to air tight container and store in the refrigerator for three to four days.
- Reheat leftovers in the microwave in 30 second intervals until warmed.

Ingredients

I found this today and made some substitutions: I only had Italian sausage, no other meats, and added a jar of mushrooms. I also didn’t have pizza sauce, but used Classico red pepper spaghetti sauce. It was DELISH! My husband couldn’t wait until it came out of the oven. It looked just like the picture too!
