Ingredients for Corn on the Cob in the Air Fryer
- Corn on the cob – You will need to shuck them and discard all of the husks and silk before cooking them.
- Olive oil – This keeps the corn from sticking to the air fryer basket and also adds flavor.
- Salt and black pepper – You only need simple seasoning when you cook fresh sweet corn!
Can you cook frozen corn on the cob in the air fryer?
Yes, you can cook fresh or frozen corn on the cob in your air fryer. During the summer, there’s nothing better than fresh corn but during the rest of the year frozen is great.
How to Make Corn on the Cob in Air Fryer
- Coat the corn on the cob with olive oil and place the ears of corn in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook them at 370°F until the kernels are tender and juicy. Rotate them halfway through the cooking time so they cook evenly.
- Season the corn with salt and pepper before serving.
Different Ways to Serve It
You can serve it with just simple salt and pepper or add some other seasonings to dress it up!
- Slather melted butter on the hot corn on the cob before serving it.
- Garnish it with fresh herbs like chopped parsley, basil, chives, or cilantro.

- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the corn for serving.

Tips for the Best Air Fryer Corn on the Cob
- When picking out fresh corn, pick ears that have husks that are green and not dried out or yellowed. They should be wrapped tightly around the corn.
- If you use frozen corn on the cob you don’t need to thaw it first. The cooking time will be a little less since it’s briefly par-cooked before it’s frozen. Just check on it and once it’s hot and juicy it’s ready!
- Depending on the size of your air fryer basket you may need to cook your corn in batches.
- Store leftover air fryer corn on the cob in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for several days and you can reheat it in the microwave.
This is one of my favorite corn recipes because it’s so easy and I can make it all year – not just during grilling season. It’s the best side dish for so many meals – give it a try soon!
