I’m showing you how to cook frozen egg rolls in your air fryer so they come out golden brown and crispy. They’re so easy – add some sweet and sour sauce on the side to dip them in!
Why these Frozen Air Fryer Egg Rolls Work!
- One ingredient! That’s right, all you need is your frozen egg rolls.
- Perfectly crispy without any addition of oil. Making them healthier than their fried counterparts.
- Ready in less than 15 minutes making it such an easy addition to your favorite at home Chinese dinner.
Our Favorite Air Fryer!
Wondering what air fryer to purchase? There are so many choices out there, but this is our favorite one to get you into the air frying game.
The Cosori Air Fryer is reasonable prices, has a big basket, preset settings and works great. We have this one at the cabin and love it.
When people ask me what one to start with this is the one I recommend over and over again.
How to Air Fry Frozen Egg Rolls
You only need and air fryer and two ingredients – frozen egg rolls and a dipping sauce!
You can air fry any frozen egg rolls – chicken egg rolls, pork egg rolls, vegetable egg rolls, and shrimp egg rolls are so good!

- Place the frozen egg rolls in the air fryer basket. Be sure to place them in a single layer – don’t stack them otherwise they won’t cook evenly.
- Cook them at 350°F for 12 minutes or until they are golden brown, crispy, and hot.
- Serve them as a side dish or appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce like sweet and sour sauce, Thai sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, or teriyaki sauce.
Air Frying Tips
- Every air fryer is different so your egg rolls may need more or less time to cook. So, check on them halfway through and adjust the time as needed.
- If you are making a big batch, air fry them in separate batches. You don’t want to crowd the basket because the egg rolls won’t cook evenly. You can keep the cooked ones warm in the oven while you air fry the rest.
- I don’t usually need to flip them while they’re cooking, but if you notice they aren’t browning evenly give the basket a toss to turn them.

Make it a Meal!
Whenever I make homemade Chinese takeout recipes, I love to pair them with these easy air fryer egg rolls. Here are some of our favorites:
- We love egg rolls with broccoli beef and fried rice.
- Add them as a side dish with my orange chicken recipe and copycat Panda Express chow mein!
- Make some baked sweet and sour chicken to go with your air fried eggrolls – it’s a lot lighter than takeout with no deep frying.
How long do I cook frozen egg rolls in my air fryer?
It will depend on your air fryer, but 12 minutes at 350°F works well. Check on them halfway through the cooking time to ensure they are browning evenly.
If they are browning more in one area just flip them to evenly brown them.
Can you air fry leftover egg rolls?
Yes, if you have leftovers from takeout you can reheat them in your air fryer! Egg rolls soften and when they’re chilled so popping them in the air fryer crisps them up again. You don’t need to reheat them for very long – start with five minutes or so and check on them before adding more time.
