Asian Shrimp Scampi
In my humble opinion there isn’t anything better than take out Chinese food that you can make at home. Enter my newest creation. Asian Shrimp Scampi! It’s super quick and a fun twist on Shrimp Scampi. It’s sweet and tangy!
Do you and your husband’s taste buds agree?
For the most part this is true for me and my hubs, but there are a few things that are a little out of his box.
For instance, Chinese or anything Asian flavored is a little out of his comfort zone. He’ll let me hit up a random Chinese Buffet every five years if I beg and promise that there will be some American type of food on it too.
The thing is, if I make it at home he eats it. Explain that one too me!
So, I decided it was time to add another dinner recipe with an Asian flair to my recipes!
That’s when Asian Shrimp Scampi was born! It’s so easy!
The best part was that he ate it, so I knew it was good.
Want to know why it was so easy? The key is that the Shrimp Scampi is from Gorton’s. It’s so cool.
In a box you get two bags that you pop in the oven on a sheet pan and bake for about 30 minutes. That’s it.
While the shrimp scampi baked I prepared the rest of the recipe. It took the complexity right out of the recipe. I’m pretty sure my husband could have even made this one on his own!
