Ranch Ground Chicken Burger is a juicy, delicious chicken burger recipe made of ground chicken and flavored with ranch! It’s a quick, weeknight dinner solution that the entire family will love. Mix up your burger routine and make a chicken burger!
So, burgers are one of those things we usually make during the summer so seeing as we’re heading into the colder months we will really miss our grill! Goodbye, BBQ Tenderloin and Grilled Corn – we’ll miss you! The hardest are the burgers, though. I love grilled burgers!
So, as much as I’m looking forward to baking more and making cozy dinners I’m always a little sad when we clean and cover the grill for the winter. So, you might be wondering – well, if grilling season is over for you what’s with the chicken burgers? I’m so glad you asked! I cooked these easy Chicken Burgers with Ranch using my – are you ready for it? – broiler. Yep, these juicy burgers cook in about 10 minutes in the oven, but you’d never know. They totally look and taste like they were grilled!
My sister-in-law told me about this recipe for chicken burgers. We usually stick with beef burgers or turkey burgers, so I was curious about using ground chicken to make a burger. I played around with the recipe she shared – I changed it a lot and mixed it up – and (spoiler alert!) they are yummy! Obviously, they have ranch dressing on them because you know how we love our ranch around here! Maybe I’ll throw some bacon bits in next time. You know how I roll.
Tender chicken burgers dripping with ranch – you know I’m in love! I think you will be, too, when you see how easy they are to make!

Should the broiler be on high or low?
Julie Evink says
I used high.
Emily says
I ended up using low, but let them cook a bit longer. My entire family went crazy over them and had a hard time believing that they were just chicken. They were delicious! Thank you! 🙂

I want to try this. It looks absolutely delicious! I am wondering what to do with the butter though?

It’s just to butter your buns if you’d like to broil them!
Heidi says
Are you supposed to put butter in the burger?
nena says
Okay..so I wanna try buffalo sauce..with dry ranch seasoning pack..will that work? Do I need to use egg to keep it together?

Hi Julie, Since the store didn’t have any ground chicken on hand I used turkey and broiled it in my toaster oven. I also put a slice of swiss cheese on it. It was soooo good. But I think I’d like the chicken even better. Thanks so much.
Julie Evink says
Glad you enjoyed them Kris! That ground chicken is tricky to find sometimes!

This looks sooo yum! and you make it looks so easy! I can’t wait to try this at home with my kids this weekend. My son is not really a fan of beef, we always do chicken nuggets from time to time, so this recipe will really a good alternate to chicken nuggets. Thank you for sharing.

Hope you enjoy it Maria!

Made these as a quick meal for the teenager after school, fastest meal ever and so delicious! Wrapped up the couple we had leftover and they were a great lunch the next day. For those on Weight Watchers, the points plus values if you go all out with full-fat ranch dressing and a Pepperidge Farm buttered bun came to 13 points per sandwich. A very satisfying 13 points! Easily could lower the points with ground breast only chicken, light ranch, no butter, and a smaller bun…I am sure they would be just as delicious…a keeper for sure! Thanks!
Julie Evink says
So glad you enjoyed them!
Julie Evink says
No I didn’t add any to the burger mix. You could if you like. I just put it on top, prepared.
