Ingredients for Mushroom Swiss Burger
- Small onion – Slice up a small onion to add bold flavor to this burger. I recommend using white onion or yellow onion for the best results.

- Brioche hamburger buns – The slight sweetness from the brioche buns is so tasty! You can use regular hamburger buns if you prefer, but brioche buns really take the burger to the next level.
- Ground beef chuck – Grab some lean ground beef so that your burgers won’t be greasy.

FREEZER: Wrap a patty in plastic wrap and then place it into a freezer bag or airtight container. Freeze for 1-2 months and allow to thaw completely before reheating.

Thaw any frozen leftovers before reheating. Then place a patty in the microwave or oven and heat until fully warmed through. Heat the onions and mushrooms in the oven or on the stovetop. You can pop the buns in the toaster oven or on a warm skillet to heat them up too.

You can use burger sauce on any type of burger! But this burger is also great with simple condiments like mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup. This would be tasty with a truffle mayonnaise too!
