Snowflake Snickerdoodles ~ Festive Snickerdoodle Cookies for the Holiday Season with Snowflakes Piped on them in Icing! Perfect for Your Holiday Cookie Tray!
Well, the annual toy purge just happened at our household! Usually we wait until the girls are in bed to go through all the toy boxes and toys all over the house and box up what we think they don’t want or play with any more. This year we had a conversation with Miss K about how we were going to go through her toys and the things she didn’t want or need anymore were going in a box and getting donated to families that don’t have toys at Christmas.
She actually did pretty good with it! Sure, there were a few instances we tossed a toy in the box and she went running to “rescue” it but we ended up with a big box full of items we didn’t need anymore and will be donating them this week.
We will enjoy the week of cut down toys before the holidays start! I know that the toy box will be overflowing again before I know it. Don’t get me wrong I’m very thankful we are able to buy gifts and my kids get so excited about presents, but when people ask me what they need I sort of cringe because I run out of ideas! There are only so many “things” they need.
I do my best to ask for clothes, pajamas, books and things like that instead of stuff they seem to use once and then it’s onto the next great thing! If anyone has brilliant ideas on what to give small children I would welcome them!
I took the day off on Monday just to focus on getting some Christmas things done. AKA baking all the cookies. I can’t wait! Have you got all your holiday baking done?I have most of my gifts bought and half wrapped so maybe I’ll finish some wrapping of presents too.
These Snowflake Snickerdoodles are such a fun twist on a classic cookie. There’s just something about that snowflake that makes them so adorable!
To make these Snowflake Snickerdoodle Cookies a little bit lighter I used Truvía® Baking Blend. They are my favorite secret ingredients because it helps me reduce the calories in delicious recipes and not sacrifice the flavor. Truvia® sweetener is natural, great-tasting sweetness that was born from the leaves of the stevia plant.
Snowflake Snickerdoodles are the perfect treat to make for the holidays! Everyone will love these on your cookie tray this year!
