If you love a good sauce on your burgers this is the one you want to make. It’s quick and easy to make and is just like the restaurants. This burger sauce is the perfect addition to any burger, slather it on that bun and enjoy.

Just when I thought a juicy burger hot off the grill or baked hamburgers in the oven, served by my husband of course, couldn’t get better… then this burger sauce entered my life. It did get better. A lot better. I’m pretty sure that I’m never going to eat another burger without it!
There’s something new coming to this cookout this year! We’ll be serving up more than burgers and baked beans! Watch out world. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be the talk of the town when bring this “Best Burger Sauce Ever” to the cookout!
It’s an easy blend of staples that are usually in your house that will give your burgers a little bit of zip.
First of all, this burger sauce is not the same as Thousand Island. They share a similar flavor profile, but they are different.
It’s a simple combination of ingredients. This is what I love about it. I always have the ingredients on hand for an impromptu burger night during the summer.
Ingredients for Burger Sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Yellow Mustard
- Minced onion
- Garlic Powder
- White Vinegar
Ready in 2 Steps!
Chop the onions up and then just mix it! That’s right that’s all you have to do.
I recommend letting it chill in the refrigerator at least one hour before serving to let the flavors meld.
Storage
The sauce will keep up to a week in the refrigerator in a air tight container.
Perfect Side for your Burgers!

It’s quite interesting that you used vinegar for this burger sauce recipe as it would surely add a bit of zing to its taste. I’ve been getting fond of testing out all sorts of burgers recently and I’m planning to get some cheeseburger meal takeouts soon. Maybe I should also try to make my own sauces at home to add my own flare to the burgers I’m eating.
