¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
8 ounces crescent roll dough
Strawberries or other fresh fruit
In a small mixing bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
Unroll your crescent roll dough and carefully tear it apart along the perforated triangles.
Roll triangles from the larger end until the crescent is completed. Set aside.
Gather your bowl with the sugar mixture and press the crescent rolls into the sugar mixture until they are thoroughly covered. Then, set it back to the cookie sheet or plate.
Lightly spray the pre-heated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and set 2-4 crescent rolls inside, and close.
Cook until the outside is medium brown, about 2-3 minutes for most models.
Place on a serving dish of your choice, and serve warm with optional whipped topping and strawberries.
