Semi-sweet chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl beat butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Add in eggs and vanilla, beat until incorporated.
In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to wet mixture and mix until just combined. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, until the outside of the cookie is just beginning to brown. Remove from oven, cool for 2 minutes on sheet pan and remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
