Toss the chicken in the buttermilk marinade and set aside.
Prepare three bowls: one for the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; the second for the whisked eggs; and the third for the cornstarch. Coat the chicken in this order.
Coat the air fryer basket with olive oil and add the coated chicken. Cook, shaking the basket halfway through.
