Ingredients

  • 1 boneless fully cooked ham (about 3 pounds)
  • ¼ cup water

Glaze

  • 8 ounces crushed pineapple drained
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with foil, then coat with cooking spray.
  • Place ham, flat side down, in the prepared pan. Add ¼ cup water to the bottom of the pan. Then cover ham and pan with aluminum foil.
  • Place in preheated oven and bake for 1 ½ hours.
  • In a small saucepan, combine pineapple, brown sugar, honey, mustard, salt, and cornstarch, stir to combine.
  • Cook over medium-high heat until bubbly, stirring constantly. Once fully bubbling, turn down heat to low and continue simmering while stirring for 1 minute longer.
  • Remove foil and pour glaze over ham. Cover ham again and bake for another 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Baste occasionally, if desired.
  • Once cooked, remove ham from pan and slice. Pour glaze from the roasting pan into a gravy boat to serve alongside the ham.

Notes

How Should I Store The Ham?
Store leftover sliced ham in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for three to four days.
What Can I Do With Leftover Ham?
We love making these recipes with our leftover ham after the holidays!
Another great option is to dice ham, store it in the a freezer bag in smaller portions and pull it out when you need it! It will stay good for about three months in the freezer.
What Are Substitutions I Can Make?
Instead of pouring water into the bottom of the pan, add pineapple juice. You can also use different kinds of mustard to change the flavor.
More Recipe Tips
  • If you want extra pineapple, place a few pineapple rings on top of the ham before you bake it.
  • I use a smaller rimmed sheet pan to cook a smaller pan. This keeps the glaze from spreading out to much. If you only have a large sheet pan, you can fold the foil around the ham to keep the juices and glaze contained.
  • You don’t have to line the pan with foil, but it makes clean-up easier because the glaze can caramelize on the bottom of the pan making it hard to clean.
