Fish Sandwich with Garlic Aioli Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 4 Gorton's Fish Sandwich Fillets
  • 4 buns
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Coleslaw

  • 3/4 c. shredded cabbage
  • 3/4 c. shredded red cabbage
  • 3/4 c. shredded carrots

Garlic Aioli

  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Mix all Garlic Aioli ingredients together in small bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. 
  • Bake Gorton's Fish Sandwich Fillets according to package directions.
  • When fish is almost done cooking in a small bowl combine cabbage and carrots. Pour garlic aioli over the top and mix until combined. 
  • Remove fish from oven when done cooking. Remove from sheet pan and place on plate, cover with tin foil to keep warm. 
  • Turn oven to broil. Spread butter on inside of each bun. Place on sheet pan butter side up. Broil 3-4 minutes or until buns are golden brown. Remove from oven.
  • Place one fish sandwich fillet on bottom of bun. Top with desired amount of coleslaw and top with top of bun. 
  • Serve immediately.
