Broccoli and Chicken Bread Boats

Toasted Bread Loaded with Broccoli, Chicken and Cheese with a Light Hot Sauce! The Perfect Easy Dinner Recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 c. broccoli florets
  • 10 oz canned chicken
  • 1/2 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 to mato cubed
  • 1 1/3 c. shredded cheese *Note
  • 1 1/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 loaf french bread

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 365°F.
  • Combine all of the ingredients.
  • Cut the top off of the French bread and cut loaf in half. Push down on the sides of bread to create larger opening.
  • Distribute the broccoli and chicken filling oven the bread.
  • Bake 15-18 minutes, until bread reaches desired crispiness and top of filling becomes golden.
  • Cut into desired pieces and enjoy. Drizzle hot sauce for added spiciness, optional.

Notes

You can use your favorite shredded cheese: Mozzarella, Four cheese, Mexican, Colby Jack or a combination of any of these will work.
