Taco Oyster Crackers Recipe

Taco Oyster are delicious seasoned crackers perfect for snacking on! Tossed in taco seasoning they are crunchy with the perfect amount of zip. Great for parties, game night and watching movies.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages oyster crackers 10 oz each
  • ¾ cup canola oil
  • 1 package taco seasoning 1.25 oz
  • ½ Tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ Tablespoon dried oregano
  • ½ Tablespoon chili powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place crackers in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour over crackers. Mix until crackers are completely covered in seasoning mix.
  • Spread crackers out in two large baking sheets with sides. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring at 10 minutes. Cool. Store in airtight container.

Notes

  • To change the flavor and spice level of these seasoned oyster crackers, use different taco seasoning packets!
  • Add some red pepper flakes for extra kick and flavor!
  • Once baked, sprinkle a little bit of sea salt over the warm crackers to bring out the taco seasoning flavor.
