Easy Taco Dip

Delicious Taco Dip with a taco seasoned cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and cheese is the perfect easy party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1.25 ounce envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup taco Cheese
  • 3 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2.25 ounces sliced black olives

Instructions

  • Combine sour cream, cream cheese and taco seasoning in a medium bowl until smooth.
  • Spread on 9x13 in pan. Cover mixture with salsa. Then sprinkle cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and black olives on top.
  • Cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve with chips.

Notes

  • Either place leftover taco dip into an airtight container, or cover the baking dish in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. I do not recommend freezing this dip!
  • Add some extra kick to this dip with sliced jalapeños or serraño peppers or by using a spicy salsa.
  • If you want more veggies in this dip, you can add corn, bell pepper, or cucumber.
  • Feel free to swap the sour cream for plain greek yogurt if you prefer!
