Crock Pot Roast with Potatoes Recipe

Quick and easy slow cooker pot roast made with potatoes. It is seasoned with ranch seasoning and has a delicious gravy!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb roast
  • 1 lb potatoes cleaned and halved
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1 oz envelope ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  • Coat crock pot with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Placed halved potatoes on bottom of the crock pot and place meat on the potatoes.
  • In a bowl whisk together soup, cream cheese and dressing mix. Pour over meat and potatoes in slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours or on high for 4 1/2 to 5 hours.

Searing Roast - You can sear the roast before placing in crock pot to really make the flavor lock in. 
To sear heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in skillet over high heat. Sear roast on all sides (about 5 minutes per side). Then transfer roast to the slow cooker and prepare recipe.
