How long does homemade cinnamon butter last?
It will keep in the refrigerator for up to a month!
Do you have to refrigerate it?
To keep it nice and creamy, leave it out at room temperature in an airtight container. If you’re planning to eat it within a day or two it will be fine at room temperature. After that, I would keep it in the fridge.
Can you use granulated sugar instead of powdered sugar?
You can but it might be a little grainy. I like powdered sugar because it isn’t grainy and melts into the butter so it’s really creamy and smooth.
How long does it take to soften butter?
For this recipe, it’s a lot easier to beat the butter when it’s room temperature. Leave it out for at least 30 minutes so it’s soft enough to cream.
