Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 c. butter softened
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 oz package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 c. chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine flour and baking soda. In a large bowl beat brown sugar, sugar, butter, shortening, pudding mix, vanilla and almond extract. Mix until well blended.
  • Add eggs and mix well. Beat in the flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes on pan and then remove to cooling rack.
