Pesto Pasta with Sausage and Ricotta

Pesto Pasta with Sausage & Ricotta ~ A simple pasta loaded with pesto, chicken sausage and ricotta cheese! Only 4 Ingredients to deliciousness!

  • 1 lb pasta
  • 1 12 oz package chicken sausage sliced
  • 1 cup prepared pesto
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese


  • In a large skillet, cook sliced sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Prepare pasta according to package directions, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Return pasta to saucepan, immediately mix in pesto and reserved water. Stir until pesto has been incorporated. Finally, add cooked sausage.
  • Serve pasta with a dollop of ricotta. Stir.
