French Silk Pie – Puff Pastry

French Silk Puffs ~ A twist on the traditional French Silk Pie using Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shells!

  • 2 10 oz boxes Pepperidge Farms Puff Pastry Shells
  • 1/4 c. butter softened
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 oz unsweetened chocolate melted
  • 1 egg pasteurized
  • 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip divided


  • Bake puff pastry shells according to directions on box. Cool and remove shell tops. Save for later.
  • In a stand mixer cream the butter and sugar together. Blend in unsweetened chocolate. Add egg and beat 8 minutes, until light and fluffy. Fold in 1 c. Cool Whip.
  • Fill puff pastry shells with French Silk Pie filling. Dallop each pastry with Cool Whip and place shell top back on the pastry.
  • Store in an air tight container in fridge.
