Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops at least 1-inch thick*
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Pork Seasoning

  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoons paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  • Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Rub pork chops with the olive oil and place them on the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl mix all of the pork seasoning ingredients together. Rub the pork seasoning over all sides of the pork chops.
  • Bake pork chops in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes for 1-inch thick boneless pork chops. The pork chops are done when the internal temperature measures 145 degrees Fahrenheit on an instant read thermometer. (Thinner pork chops will cook faster, bone-in pork chops will take longer to cook.) Be careful not to overcook the pork chops or they may dry out.
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes and then serve.

Notes

Allow leftovers to cool completely and then place into an airtight container or wrap individually in plastic wrap or foil.
FRIDGE: Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
FREEZER: You can also freeze leftovers for up to 3 months. I recommend wrapping individually and storing in a freezer safe plastic bag.
For best results, reheat these pork chops in the oven. You can also heat them on the stove-top in a skillet, but I think that leftovers turn out more juicy when reheated in the oven. Just preheat the oven to about 350 degrees Fahrenheit and heat until they reach a safe internal temperature.
