Quick and easy Tuna Casserole recipe with a creamy tuna mixture with egg noodles, peas and cheese then topped with a buttery panko topping!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • ¼ cup onion finely diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cans tuna in water drained, (5 ounces each)
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup (10 ounces each)
  • ½ cup milk

Crumb Topping

  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Boil noodles al dente according to package directions. Drain off water.
  • While noodles are boiling, in a large bowl combine, onions, peas, soup, milk, cheese and tuna. Mix well. Stir in prepared noodles.
  • Spread noodle mixture into the prepared 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Combine the topping ingredients in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the casserole.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 18-20 minutes or until bubbly and topping is golden brown.
