Prepare the zucchini by trimming off ends and slicing each one in half lengthwise. Scoop the flesh out, then put the zucchini halves on a prepared baking sheet.

Cook the ground beef and onions, then drain the excess fat. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir and simmer.

Spoon the meat mixture into the zucchini boats and bake.

In the last few minutes, sprinkle cheese over the top and finish baking.
