Crockpot Green Beans with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 3 packages frozen French style green beans (16 oz each), thawed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 12 ounces bacon cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • Add green beans to a 5 quart slow cooker.
  • Mix brown sugar, melted butter, garlic salt and reduced sodium soy sauce in small bowl. Pour over beans and mix until combined. Stir in bacon.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through.

Notes

Fridge: Store leftover green beans in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Freezer: Do not freeze leftovers of this dish, they will not have a very nice texture once reheated again.
To reheat leftover green beans with bacon, use the stove top or microwave until heated through.
