Cook the linguine. Reserve some pasta water before draining.

Season the chicken breasts on both sides. Cook the chicken in olive oil on both sides. Remove to a cutting board, tent with foil, and let rest.

Make the alfredo sauce next.

Take the skillet off the heat. Add the cooked pasta and toss. Slice the chicken, then place it on top. Optionally garnish before serving.
