A fresh Strawberry Limeade made with 5 ingredients and done in 5 minutes – it’s a must this summer!
When life throws you limes, make limeade.
Err.. wait.. in this case its Strawberry Limeade… because strawberries just makes everything better, plus it’s Strawberry season so why not!
Down here in Texas it gets mighty hot during the summer months.
As in, you walk outside and immediately start sweating because it is 100° outside with 90% humidity. Its disgusting so anything that will keep me and my little man cool and refreshed while we play outside is a MUST in my book.
Ok, quick recap. So Texas heat = crazy hot = need something to cool down fast.
Which is why I love this Fresh Strawberry Limeade so much, not only it is one awesome refreshing drink for a hot humid day. But it is crazy easy to make – you literally just throw everything into the blender, strain it, and add club soda. Now you will notice in the recipe I tell you to throw the limes in whole, I know its strange but trust me. When you throw them in whole you will get the best limey taste out of them, which is what you want in a limeade. Lime taste people. Don’t worry about getting chunks of lime when your drinking the finished product, I have you strain it before you serve. 🙂
The fresh taste from the combination of tart limes and sweet strawberries energizes you – but its not sugar that gives you the extra boost because this recipe only uses all natural agave, it’s the fresh ingredients. Nature is the best energy booster!
This Strawberry Limeade would be a great drink to make for a Summer BBQ, add a little Bacardi and make this an adult beverage. 🙂 hehe
Either way this Limeade needs to make its appearance in your house!

Where can you find agave??
Julie Evink says
You can usually find agave in the baking aisle or near the honey and syrups at most grocery stores. Health food stores and places like Target or Walmart often carry it too!

Can I substitute with frozen strawberries?

You could totally use honey as the sweetener of you don’t have access to shave Paige!

Yikes! That is uncomfortable weather! It’s only in the 80’s here and I am uncomfortable in the sun after 5 minutes. This drink looks so good and refreshing! I would be continuously reloading on glasses of these!
