Grilled BBQ Pineapple Shrimp Bites ~ Delicious, Grilled Pineapple and Shrimp Bites Seasoned with BBQ Seasoning and Sauce then Grilled to Perfection!

You guys. It’s almost football season. Can I get a WAHOOO??? In my opinion it’s like the fifth season of the year. Anyone else have this feeling? You know why I love it so much? It’s really all about the food of course! It gives me an excuse to make all kinds of appetizers. I’m all about the appetizer. From cheesy dips to snack mixes to vegetable pizza to tortilla pinwheels. I don’t really discriminate when it comes to a delicious appetizer.
Another reason that I love football season? The tailgaiting of course! What is more fun than getting your friends around a grill before the big game to enjoy some delicious food? Whether you gather around the grill at the stadium before the big game or at home it doesn’t really matter. There is fun ahead of you either way you choose to fire up the grill!

As you all know I’m totally about the easy, fuss-free recipes because who really has time for those fussy recipes that take a ton of time? Not me that’s for sure! Plus, when I have friends around for the big game the last thing I want to be stuck doing is making food. Instead I want to be enjoying it with everyone! It’s not much fun at all when you make all the food, everyone inhales it while you are busy and you are left with the scraps!
This year at work we are having an Office Football Pool for a little fun competition. At first they were going to do a Fantasy Football League and the girl who picks teams on the cutest of the to uniforms decided that just seemed a little complicated. That girl is me in case you are wondering. Are you in a Fantasy League? I admire you if you are. It seems a little big complicated to keep track of all these players and teams and positions and my eyes are now glazing over and I’m back to thinking about what I’ll serve you to eat when we watch the game. The “pool’ idea seems much easier to figure out so I can get back to creating some delicious appetizers for everyone!

One of my favorite appetizer MVPs is shrimp especially when it’s coated in BBQ Sauce and seasoned with BBQ Seasoning. Pair it with sweet pineapple on the grill and it’s a winner. These BBQ Pineapple Shrimp Bites are perfect for tailgating because they are perfect finger food! New to grilling shrimp? Weber has made a fabulous tip sheet for you! Wonderful! I have also used Sweet & Sour sauce in place of the BBQ sauce some times.

Shrimp, pineapple, and BBQ sauce is a combination for a delicious treat. I like pineapples and I love shrimp, so I can easily have a few servings of this at one sitting!
