This Millionaire Pie recipe is a rich, creamy dessert made with a graham cracker crust filled with a sweet mixture of crushed pineapple, chopped pecans, shredded coconut, and fluffy whipped topping—perfect for holidays, potlucks, and easy make-ahead treats.
My nearly no-bake millionaire pie recipe is perfectly creamy and just sweet enough with cream cheese, Cool Whip, coconut flakes, crushed pineapple, maraschino cherries and chopped pecans. It is always a crowd favorite and often the first dessert to disappear when there are a few to choose from.
The kids especially love all of the different textures from the cherries, pineapple and coconut mixed with the cream cheese and Cool Whip, too. This millionaire pie recipe with cream cheese is a fun upgrade from a super simple No Bake Cheesecake with your favorite fruit topping.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- This classic icebox pie has only about 10 minutes of prep time before you leave the pie to set in the fridge.
- You can prepare this dessert a day in advance, leaving you lots of time to prepare anything else you may need for your get together.
- Millionaire pie is made from ingredients that you can just open up, measure and add to the bowl, so there is a less clean up.
Ingredients For Millionaire Pie
- Graham cracker crumbs – Graham crumbs have a subtle sweetness that makes this crust great. If you happen to forget to pick these up and you’ve got graham crackers in your pantry, just add some to your food processor and make your own crumbs.
- Butter – Melted butter binds sugar and graham cracker crumbs together for the pie crust.
- Brown sugar – Adds a nice caramel sweetness to the crust.
- Cream cheese – Use full fat cream cheese for the best flavor. Soften by leaving out at room temperature for about 30 minutes on the counter.
- Sugar – White granulated sugar dissolves well in the cream cheese mixture and adds the perfect amount of sweetness.
- Coconut flakes – Use sweetened coconut flakes to add texture and flavor.
- Crushed pineapple – Drain the pineapple well with a fine mesh sieve so that there isn’t any extra moisture in the pie that will keep it from setting.
- Maraschino cherries – Maraschino cherries add texture and flavor to the pie and make a pretty garnish, too.
- Chopped pecans – Pecans are the usual nut for millionaire pie, but if you have something else in your pantry like almonds or walnuts, you can definitely use those.
