- Pork tenderloin – The best size for this recipe is 1.25 – 1.75 pounds. Make sure you’re using pork tenderloin and not pork loin.
- Olive oil – Extra virgin olive oil is the best way to help the dry rub stick to the outside of the tenderloin.
- Seasonings -The pork tenderloin rub is very simple and you only need five pantry spices:
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Kosher salt
- Ground black pepper
- Smoked paprika

How to Make Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin
Combine the ingredients for the seasoning in a small bowl until thoroughly incorporated.
Use a sharp knife to trim any excess fat or silver skin from the tenderloin, then rub olive oil all over the tenderloin and then sprinkle the seasoning on it so it’s coating the entire surface.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for five minutes. Then place the seasoned pork tenderloin inside the air fryer basket. Air fry it for 15 to 20 minutes or until it’s cooked through. The internal temperature should be 145°F.
Take the tenderloin out of the air fryer and let it rest for five minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute so that the meat is really juicy!

Ingredients
- 1.25 – 1.75 pound pork tenderloin
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
Instructions
- Mix all seasoning ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Trim the pork tenderloin of any excess fat/silver skin, if needed.
- Rub olive oil on the entire pork tenderloin then rub spice mixture on the tenderloin coating the entire tenderloin.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes. Place pork tenderloin into the preheated air fryer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes and check the internal temperature. It should be at 145 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle of the pork tenderloin. When it reaches the correct internal temperature, remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice and serve immediately.

Made this last night. It is really fast and easy. I did add Cayenne pepper to the dry rub. Had to cook it a little longer. We like using our smoker for pork loins but, if you don’t have the time. This is a lot faster.
