Ingredients for Frozen Pizza Rolls in the Air Fryer
There is only one ingredient needed for this pizza rolls recipe — your favorite kind of pizza rolls! The classic pepperoni pizza rolls are our favorite but the plain cheese ones are tasty too. Supreme and the triple pepperoni flavor taste delicious cooked in the air fryer as well.
While this recipe doesn’t call for oil, if you know that things tend to stick to your air fryer basket then use some olive oil or a non-stick spray before adding the pizza rolls.
How to Cook Pizza Rolls in the Air Fryer
Place the frozen rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook them at 380°F for three to four minutes. Shake the basket or turn the pizza rolls over with tongs and then cook them for three to four minutes longer.
When they are toasty and golden brown, take them out and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
Serve them as is or add dipping sauces on the side.
Are pizza rolls good in the air fryer?
Yes! If you love hot and crispy pizza rolls the air fryer is the best way to cook them. It’s fast and easy and cooks frozen food really evenly.
How long do you cook frozen pizza rolls in the air fryer?
It will depend on the temperature you cook them at. I like to cook them at 380°F for about six to eight minutes total. Flip them over halfway through the cooking time so that the both bottom and tops of the pizza rolls cook and brown evenly.
How many pizza rolls can you cook in the air fryer at a time?
This all depends on the size of your air fryer basket. You can cook as many at one time that will fit in a single layer. Don’t pile them or squish them into the basket because the hot air needs to be able to circulate around so that they cook evenly. So, if all the pizza bites won’t fit, just cook them in batches.
What dips go with pizza rolls?
We love marinara sauce but you can also serve them with ranch dip, marinara sauce, or Alfredo sauce.
Can I store leftover cooked pizza rolls?
Yes! Transfer cooled leftovers to an airtight container or zip top plastic bag and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results. I don’t recommend freezing leftovers. Instead, just try to portion out what you plan to eat so that you can cook them all fresh from frozen.
What to Serve with Air Fryer Frozen Pizza Rolls
Serve this as an easy appetizer or an after-school snack. They go great alongside other bite-sized favorites like pigs in a blanket or ham and cheese roll ups. Or even serve with other pizza favorites like pizza crescent rolls, pizza sliders, or pizza dip.
Pizza rolls alongside crispy air fryer french fries is always tasty too. And if your kids want something a little sweet after munching down on these after school, monster energy balls would be perfect!
Pro Tips for the Best Frozen Pizza Rolls in Air Fryer
- Never overload you air fryer basket! There needs to be space for the air to circulate around the food so that the pizza rolls get crispy on all sides.
- For best results, only heat up what you plan to eat. Leftover pizza rolls can be reheated, but they’re best fresh from frozen.
- Don’t forget the dipping sauce! The one thing better than a crispy pizza rolls in the air fryer is a pizza roll dipped in sauce.
