Disclosure: I’m sharing French’s® in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™” #FrenchsCrowd #FrenchsKetchup
We are in the midst of the summer and it’s been a jammed packed one around this household! This is the first year I’ve had to deal with “activities” for Miss K. Usually it’s nothing more than the usual grind of daycare, work etc. But this year we threw in Vacation Bible School and Swimming Lessons and I got a glimpse of my future. Soon I’ll be multiplying that by three kids and their activities when the other two get old enough.
I’m exhausted just thinking about it! Only 11 more years until Miss K gets her drivers license! No, I’m not really looking forward to that either.
This summer my niece got her license. One morning when were driving out the of the driveway, and Hallie was at our house babysitting Koert since I don’t have daycare for the babe yet, Miss K spotted her car and said, “MOM HALLIE CAN DRIVE NOW?? THAT IS SOOOOO COOL!”
I have a feeling Miss K is counting down the days until she can drive something other than her pick Ranger around the yard!
Speaking of pink Rangers… the funniest thing happened to us the other weekend. We came home from the cabin to find two used ride on cars in front of our garage for the girls. They were over the moon. I mean, Mom, one of them even had DOORS on it!
I have asked anyone I can think of that might have gifted us these and I still can not figure it out. Funny thing is, when I see people they are like, “Oh I saw those in front of your garage and was wondering why you parked them there over the weekend!”
We live on a major highway and apparently people notice what we do! Note to self. No running around the yard in my sports bra!
If you gifted them to us, “THANK YOU” the girls are loving them!
Since the girls love to be outside, soaking up all the rays of summer, we grill a ton of food in the summer months. I love that there is minimal dishes, the hubs steps up at takes over (WINNER WINNER), and it’s easy to sneak in healthier foods for my family.
I love a good old grilled chicken breast, but sometimes I want something with a little more flavor. That’s where this BBQ Chicken Marinade enters the pictures. You guys! It totally takes your grilled chicken up a notch, or maybe even six. You end up with this perfectly sweet, slightly tangy, moist chicken breast. Plus, I bet you have the ingredients in your pantry already. Another major win!
