This yummy recipe is perfect when you’re craving a juicy burger that is cooked to perfection.

- Beef seasoning – You can either snag some of our Gimme Some Grilling beef seasoning, or use your favorite that you have in your spice cabinet. You can also make your own beef seasoning!
- Cheddar cheese – Grab thick sliced cheddar cheese to use on top of the burger patties. Other cheeses would be tasty too. Provolone, pepper jack, Swiss cheese, or anything else that you want to use.
- Hamburger buns – Buy fresh hamburger buns to place the juicy hamburger patties on.

How to Cook Burgers in the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and grab a rimmed baking sheet and wire rack to use later.
Add the ground beef and beef seasoning to a bowl and mix until just combined.
Divide the beef mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each one into a tight ball. Use your hands to flatten each ball into a disc, making it thinner in the center. Smooth any cracks at the edges with the palm of your hand.
Place the burger patties onto a wire rack and set the rack onto a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake the hamburger patties for 25-30 minutes until they’re no longer pink in the middle and reach a safe internal temperature.
Place a slice of cheese on each patty and then turn the oven to a low broil. Broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serve on the buns and add the burger toppings of your choice!
How to Store Leftover Burgers
FRIDGE: Transfer leftovers to an airtight container or wrap each patty individually in aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
FREEZER: Place patties into an airtight container, or wrap individually and place in a freezer bag. Freeze for up to 3 months. For best results, freeze without cheese. Thaw completely before reheating.

- 2 pounds ground beef 80/20 recommended
- 4 teaspoons beef seasoning
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 6 buns
- Burger toppings of choice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl combine ground beef and beef seasoning just until combined. Do not over-mix or burgers will be tough.
- Divide meat mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape each into a tight ball. Use your hands to flatten the ball into a disc. Make it thinner in the center. Smooth any cracks at the edges with the palm of your hand.
- Place the patties onto a cooling rack and set into a baking sheet with a rim.
