How many bites did this recipe make?
I would guess around 48.
can you freeze the chicken bites after
their baked
You can, but when thawing the chicken bites the bacon will not be crispy when serving and I don’t think they’d turn out very good!
YUMMMMMMM!! Not sure a crock pot would work for the bacon, you need the crunch.
I made these last weekend and they were a hit with the family. This recipe is a keeper. Thanks for the recipie Julie.
So glad you enjoyed them Julia!
Glad you enjoyed them!
This recipe sounds fantastic! I’m going to bring these appetizers to a large family gathering. I’m guessing that if I make them in the oven, I should be able to keep them warm in a crockpot without any trouble.
I have a couple of tips- hope it doesn’t insult the cook- no ntention of that. When I make anything “wrapped” in bacon, I partially cook the bacon first. It gets the bacon super crisp when cooked with the chicken. I cook the bacon on a broiler pan until the meat isn’t pink and the fat is translucent. I would also cook the prepped chicken on the broiler pan to drain the remaining fat away from the chicken. It makes it less greasy and crispy. Delicious recipe.
Great tips Kim! Thanks for sharing!
Made these for a Church dinner, they were so good. I am making again for a Christmas dinner party. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed them!
How would these be using turkey bacon and should any changes be made?
I haven’t tested it like this but I wouldn’t think so.
