You know I always love an easy recipe made in my slow cooker so I couldn’t say no when I made this delicious Slow Cooker Bacon Cheesy BBQ Chicken Dip! It’s loaded with cheese, bacon, chicken, bbq and ranch. I mean, really can you go wrong with that combo?

- Schwan’s Diced Chicken Breast Meat
- Shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Cream cheese
- Shredded cheddar cheese

For this slow cooker dip I used my BBQ Bacon Ranch Football Cheese Ball. I love the flavor profile of this cheese ball and wanted to make a warm dip out of it. That’s how this Slow Cooker Bacon Cheesy BBQ Chicken Dip was born! And boy am I glad it was!
I teamed up with the Minnesota-based company Schwan’s this month to bring you this fabulous slow cooker dip recipe that the entire family is sure to enjoy.
Have you heard of Schwan’s before? I grew up with this company and their ionic yellow trucks making an appearance in the neighborhood. They aim to help provide busy families with high-quality meals that are easy to make and prepare at home.
You guys know I’m ALL about that! It’s pretty much my main goal in life. Add in their convenient delivery options and I’m hooked.
Did you know you can order online at Schwans.com or through their mobile app and they will deliver your order straight to your home whether you’re at home or on the go!
If you aren’t home they leave it in this reusable freezer bag and pack it all up with ice packs so it stays cold until you get home. It’s pretty awesome! As a busy Mom I truly appreciate that I don’t have to coordinate delivery times. I’ve got enough going on in my life!
Can we talk about that ice cream? You know how as a little kid you dreamed of the magical ice cream truck coming through your neighborhood?
That’s pretty much exactly how I feel about the Schwan’s truck coming through the neighborhood as an adult! Minus the music of course. Wink, Wink!
For this Slow Cooker Bacon Cheesy BBQ Chicken Dip I used their amazing Diced Chicken Breast Meat and their Fully Cooked Bacon Slices. I’m pretty picky when it comes to my chicken, I’ll admit this. I like a high-quality chicken and won’t settle for anything less. I can happily say that Schwan’s Diced Chicken Breast Meat surpasses my expectations!
Not only did I get to develop this delicious Slow Cooker Dip recipe for Schwan’s, but I also got to attend Super Bowl LIVE in Minneapolis and check out Schwan’s Tailgate Truck Tower! I won’t lie, I was quizzing them to see how they got those trucks stacked like that! If you are wondering too make sure to check out their time-lapse video on Facebook!
If you are in the area I highly recommend that you head down to Super Bowl LIVE in Minneapolis and take in the festivities! Make sure to stop by the Schwan’s Tailgate Truck Tower at 8th Street and Nicollet where there’s delicious food samples, fun trivia and giveaways.
I even got make my own virtual bobblehead! Plus, I got to play Tailgate Trivia, an interactive video game displayed on the 40-foot tall tower of stacked Schwan’s delivery trucks. I may have lost, but I still had fun!
