What other fillings can I use?
Switch out the pepperoni for bacon, ham, sausage, or any other protein that you’d like. You can also add more seasonings and herbs like garlic, basil, or parsley.
You can also add veggies like mushrooms, black olives, and bell peppers! If you like onions on your pizza, sauté some on the stovetop to add as a filling in your pizza crescent rolls.
Pro Tips!
- Don’t overfill your crescent roll or you’ll end up with toppings spilling out all over the place once baked!
- Season your butter with a bit of garlic powder to make garlic butter. Use that to brush on the tops of each crescent roll before and after baking.
- Have fun with dipping sauces! Marinara is great, but you could make some ranch or anything else that you like with pizza.

If using homemade crescent rolls, do I add the filling before the second rise? Or just bake without the second rise?
