Pizza Casserole ~ Family Pleasing Casserole Stuffed with Pasta, Hamburger and Pizza Sauce! Perfect Comfort Food for a Busy Night!
Garth Brooks is currently in Minnesota for a few weekends putting on shows and let’s just say it’s three hours away from me and I’m very sad I can not attend his concerts due to this child that should make an appearance any day now. It seems everyone around me is off to his concert and having a blast. It sounds like he is also quite the performer. Baby E know that I’m already making a lot of sacrifices for you!
This little video of a cancer patient at his concert went viral and I spent a good chunk of time crying after watching this. That’s the thing though. I spend a lot of time crying lately. Happy tears, sad tears they are all there. I can’t wait till my hormones aren’t all over the place anymore! One of my friends posted several shots on Snapchat of her at the concert the other night and I was a little bit jealous of course. The next day she texted me to see if I had heart Garth’s new song, “Mom” and I had not and she insisted I had to watch it. Of course I immediately asked if I was going to cry and she said probably. Like this is real surprising in my life right now. My friend is also pregnant right now and we went through our first pregnancies together so she totally knows where I am right now in life! She sent me a little video of it from the concert and I was in love with it. Have you seen it? It fits this moment in my life perfectly. You guys have to go check it out.
See I told you it would bring you to tears! It’s rather fitting for this post actually too. This recipe is from my husband’s Mom. She passed away before I met him and I love to bring back his favorites from his childhood. His sister passed on a few recipes that were the standards in their household and this was one of them. You should have seen his face light up when I made this for him. It’s a terrific comforting casserole that the kids will love. It’s loaded with pasta, beef, cheese and it’s only FIVE ingredients! Maybe they’ll be passing on the recipe to their family many years down the road remember the love Mom provided them too!

Well I need this recipe in my life right now because we are so busy all the time! I can definitely relate to your emotional baby state! I was just there in July, and I couldn’t wait for that to be over. I’m just now starting to feel normal again. Will be thinking of you!!! Can’t wait for updates!

I am not pregnant and I still tear up at some of those videos, so don’t feel bad! Lol This casserole looks like something my mom made growing up that we all loved. I will have to give it a try, I am sure the husband would LOVE it!

Definitely going to try this. I have a bag of egg noodles that I need to use up. They aren’t extra wide, but they will work just fine in this. YUM!!
