What to Serve with Cinnamon Roll Waffles
Scrambled eggs and crock pot egg bake are two of my favorite things to serve alongside this cinnamon roll waffle recipe. And don’t forget the oven baked bacon!
An easy breakfast casserole is a good idea too. If you’re looking to make a fancy brunch with your waffles, these mini quiche cups would be a great addition to the menu. You could even serve up some eggs benedict with a sweet waffle.
Make a fancy coffee like a caramel macchiato or cinnamon roll latte to have with your breakfast too!
How to Store Leftover Cinnamon Roll Waffles
It is best to store the waffles and cream cheese glaze separately. Unglazed waffles, stored in an airtight container, can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Alternatively, you can place waffles in the freezer for up to 3 months. Freeze the glaze separately in an airtight container.
To reheat, place waffles into the toaster or toaster oven until warmed through.
Toppings for Cinnamon Roll Waffles
In addition to the cream cheese glaze, you can add a variety of different toppings to your waffles. Strawberry sauce is really tasty. You can also slice up some fresh fruit like bananas, blueberries, and strawberries to top your stack of waffles.
Chocolate chips and chopped nuts like pecans and walnuts would be great! They would also add a great crunchy texture.
Pro Tips!
- If you don’t have non-stick cooking spray, coat your waffle maker with a bit of butter. It will help ensure that the cinnamon rolls don’t stick as they’re cooking.
- Not a fan of cream cheese icing? That’s ok! You can just top your stack of waffles with maple syrup and any other desired toppings.
- Don’t overcook your waffles. You want them to still be gooey and soft in the middle with a slightly crunchy outside.

Cinnamon roll waffles are a game changer! If you love traditional waffles, then you’ll be a huge fan of this recipe.
