Ingredients for Pepperoni Pizza Dip
- Cream cheese – This is the base for this creamy and flavorful pepperoni pizza dip. It helps if it is room temperature, so be sure to take it out of the fridge before mixing it together with all of the other ingredients.
- Pepperoni – Use whole pepperoni to layer across the top of this hearty dip. It not only provides a nice and uniform look but it adds tons of flavor.
- Chopped pepperoni – A layer of pepperonis over the top of the dip isn’t enough for a pizza dip! Mix chopped pepperonis into the creamy cheesy mixture that makes the dip.
- Mozzarella cheese – Mozzarella cheese adds the cheesy goodness needed for this most incredible pizza dip. Add in a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if you want!
- String cheese – Use string cheese on the top of the pepperoni layer to decorate the dip while adding more gooey cheese to the final product.
- Mayonnaise – Add more creaminess to this pepperoni pizza recipe with some mayo.
- Garlic powder – This adds plenty of depth to the flavor of this dip. You won’t need any extra salt because there’s plenty in the mayo and pepperoni. Another great addition would be a sprinkle of Italian seasoning!

How to Store Leftover Pepperoni Pizza Dip
Transfer leftovers into an airtight container and store in the fridge for 3-4 days. I do not recommend freezing leftovers since there’s so much cheese in the dish. To reheat leftovers, place them in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
How to Reheat Leftover Pizza Dip
To reheat leftover pizza dip, you can use either an oven or a microwave. In the oven, preheat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the dip in an oven-safe dish, cover with foil, and heat for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness at 20 minutes.
For the microwave, transfer the dip to a microwave-safe dish, cover, and heat on medium power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, for a total of 1-2 minutes until evenly heated.
While the oven method better preserves the dip’s texture and flavor, the microwave is quicker but may slightly alter the taste and consistency. Always handle hot dishes with care.
What to Serve with Pizza Dip
This hearty dip can be serve with so many different tasty things. From tortilla chips to pretzel chips and crackers, you can dig into this dip any way you want. Crostini and slices of yummy bread would be delicious with pepperoni pizza dip too.
Vegetables like carrots sticks and celery are great paired with pizza dip. And even things like breadsticks or beer bread can be dipped in it too! When you serve this dip as an appetizer, pair it alongside things like homemade jalapeño poppers and pigs in a blanket.
Can I make pepperoni pizza dip ahead of time?
Yes, you can assemble the dip up to a day in advance and keep it in the refrigerator before you bake it. If you bake it cold from the fridge you may need to add additional baking time.

- Use real mayo in this recipe for the best flavor and most creamy results. Something like Miracle Whip won’t be as tasty.

- Make sure you don’t add too many pepperonis to the top of the pizza dip or it could become a bit too greasy.
